Portal 2 PC split screen using logitech gamepad tutorial

Sorry for the shit quality of this video, i just recently found how to do this and can't wait to share it with you guys. FTW if you think that content is better than quality. I forgot to put 1 important thing in the video so read the description Important!

For those who have 360 controllers, just skip step 1 and 3,do 2, and during step 8, when the game is loading, quickly unplug and plug back the controller so it switch back to player 2

1. Download xinput. this program makes your computer think that you have 360 controller http://rumblepad2.blogspot.com/2011/04/portal-2.html
Put the files in the appropriate files as it says in the website ( i kinda show you in the video though)

2. Important, i forgot to do this in the video! Go main directory, then portal 2, then cfg, and open file named joy_configuration, put cmd2 infront of everything from the second row to the last row. Save it after

3. Now go to the main directory, open the file you copied earlier, the very first one xbox360cemu.ini . I kinda explained this in the video but read this if you dont get it. Basically copy everything below [pad 1]. Then put it somewhere like on the most bottom of the document. Then delete everything below pad 1, so just leave it blank. Then delete everything in pad2 and paste everything from pad 1 to pad2. Leave everything else alone! IT gonna ask you to save, so save it!

4.Open the game. Press ~ or if you havent enable it, go to option and enable developer console

5. open the developer console in main menu of the game, type exec joy_configuration

6. type ss_enable 1 to enable to split screen

7. type ss_map mp_coop then the rest will pop up, the first one gonna be the first level of coop

8. Press enter. You dont have to unplug anything

9 Player 1 will be the mouse and keyboard while player 2 will be the gamepad

10. Have fun

Help please!!! I can't play Split Screen mode in Portal 2. Can't even get in the map just kicks me out while loading a map. I set up my controller, ss_enable 1, exec joy_configuration and then I start the map from console, and unplugged and plugged back in still no progress. It said that my partner has disconnected. But I play ALONE! Offline split screen.

I got to split screen multiplayer with my 360 controller set to player two, but all I can do with it is walk around and look left and right. Unplugging and plugging it in just makes it player one, and suddenly all the buttons are bound to their controls again. What the fuck is going on here?
