So he seems to be saying that we don't know for sure that burning fossil fuels causes global warming, and that halting the burning of fossil fuels is the solution. But I say by the time we know for sure it will be too late, and so the wise thing to do would be to assume we are causing global warming, until we prove otherwise.
But you'll never hear a politician saying that, unless he's ready to end his career.
