Sets higher than 15 reps is very inefficient for gainings strength (although great for endurance, muscle control, etc). 4-8 is optimal. And once you can do 10+ chins/set, there is no good way to efficiently increase upper body strength without weights.
That said, pushups are one of the best excersizes there is, but they are simply not all you need.

Would have been more impressive had the shadows not shown and empty bar for anna or if it had been more than a single lift each.
