Raiko: Some games just don't age well. I loved it at the time, but I guess it was just the best thing around back then.

That's the reason why. Just now this game is horrid (as in I could never play it) but yes the game may or may not have had its merit when released.

Thats what determines a great game in my books. If you can play it years later and still enjoy as much as you did then, its an instant classic.
Still, credit where its due. This beat GTA 3 to the 3D sandbox genre.
