This is another hand held let the train run video as I experiment with videoing my model railway set in 1965 in NSW Australia.

  • The 44 has a Tsunami Alco 251 v12 sound decoder and the speaker (1 only at the front) is just the one that came with it but it has an enclosure from Model Railroad Craftsman at Blacktown NSW made specifically to fit in the 44. It is actually for a Loksound speaker but it will fit the Trainorama one if you bevel the inside edge of the enclosure.

  • The locos would have started at about notch 5 and then got up to notch 8 at 10mph (set up for a heavy train).
