Yes, Lead is toxic but it is everywhere- in your watter, in the dust of your home, and in the air you breath. Banning lead bullets for hunting will not change a thing! There is more lead consumption from deer eating food off the ground than any bullet will produce. Soil is covered in small amounts of lead from various forms of pollution. Deer and wildlife will accumulate just as much lead with or without the banning of lead bullets in hunting applications.
