@IndeclineKills This was done on an exact 1to1 copy rom for emulator. It will work on the handheld copy as well.

GREAT TRICK I JUST LEARNED FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO OPEN THE MENU BEFORE THE TRAINER SEES YOU, ONLY FOR AN EMULATOR THOUGH

if you're using the visual boy advance emulator, go to options > frame skip and change the numbers to 4 or higher. this changes the amount of frames skipped per second which allows you to press menu before the trainer sees you.

i got it every try when i did this, but i failed every time if i didn't change the frame skip

@Pikachuking2525 @carminizzle you have to use growl or tail whip type moves 6 times each time you use it it should decrease a level on the pokemon so if you use it 6 times it will make the pokemon a level 1

It works but it's level 7 and won't go to 100

@blackwolf612 Or you press start within the second you press down... It's an old cheat to get mew. I've done it.
