  • 1st of all, people give so many Biased 1 sided reviews on this, just because it takes a "New Turn" Im not defending this game or anything, I do have expectations of it, the #1 thing i see people complain about is "its not a SRPG?! its trash!" or something, not ALL Front Mission games use SPRG, this is i think the 3rd game to not use the SRPG format, the 1st Being "Front mission Gunhazard" and the next being "Front Mission: Online" BOTH games the US never got. and both are pretty good games.

  • yeah me too my fav front mission is 3

  • ive never heard of the game series front mission :o xD

  • is this game out ??

  • @Nemesis1201 that game owned

  • @y34r Trailers are made to tease, gameplay vids from TGS(single) are about 1 year old, there are also E3 vids(single/multi) but ppl playing on all those vids are random and new to the game, they couldn't show real potential of FME.

In single player it probabl won't be hard to kill enemies no matter what set-up player will use but in multi it was said that teamwork will be important. I can believe that for now, with customization + stuff like anti-missile, repair, EMP backpack available in game.

  • @y34r If FME could contain TPS style ,with strategic aspect gameplay,it may be good

But from what i see,(and believe me ,I really watch most of FME's trailer available on utube),I ddin't see anything strategical about FME, I don't know, may be they didn't show in trailer,Let's hope that I'm wrong.and game still contain strategic gameplay

  • @LordKellAset ,i mean ,sure,FMO was a shooting game, but not involved or took game to FPS style that hard, but you could see from FME,there're missions making you play in TPS like normal shooting game, completely irrelevant to wanzer.

yeah sure,FMO was TPS, but it does contain element of RPG,and MMORPG,(customization, and higher level = more available quest ,also strategy approach FMO took such as took out sniper's point before attack,)

    I

  • @y34r SE is publisher, DH was hired, S.Hashimoto is important in SE, should be obvious who is boss.

No idea what You mean but FMO was MMOTPS, not FPS or mmorpg, weapon zoom was optional, there was not that much rpg elements. Some ppl praised it some not but it was all about teamwork, mechanics, jammers, etc. they all had smth to do during match because of their abilities(in FME as weapon upgrades).

Anyway you can hardly compare srpg and shooters. Will FME be any good? will play it will know.

  • @y34r ,not to mention that Online was still very different from what Evolved has become , Online didn't have Third person view shooting, only wanzer view shotting.and it involved alot in RPG element

SRPG>>whole FPS is not a good choice,

  • @LordKellAset to be fair,FM online was first TPS of FM series but,Was it localized ? I agree that its in canon timeline ,but would it be good? i'm not so sure ,cause we never got a chance to play it,so i still stand at point where il doubt the FM will Evolved-into-crap,comparing to SRPG ones, that it was originally from

For Double Helix part,Shinji Hashimoto may collaborate with them, but final decision still lied in hand of DH ,yes?

  • @y34r Of all FM games made - Front Mission Gun Hazard is non-canon, only that one, just that I wanted to say before.

About Double Helix, it is not like they are making FM Evolved completely alone, single player scenario and design of wanzers is not by DH for example. Square Enix is working with them rather closely since last TGS09 as it was revealed in interview with Shinji Hashimoto concerning their present collaboration.
