Marc Elliot knows the importance of understanding people's differences. He was born with a rare disease that left him with virtually no intestines, and at age nine, he developed a neurological disorder called Tourette's syndrome. He is now inspiring audiences across the country by sharing his life story in order to convey the value of tolerance and the basic mental attitudes and behaviors that allow it to flourish.

  • good on him, he is turning his problem into a public awareness that seems to work and people listen,

am i shallow or cynical? but do people listen to him because he speaks well and looks good? if he was less confident and unattractive, would people listen and support as well? sadly, i think few sadly would, his campaigne would have been much tougher.

  • He just came to my college and his lecture was absolutely inspiring, interesting, and eye opening!

  • You notice how he says, things he'd never say in his life. He doesn't say, "thing I don't mean." Interesting choice of words

  • If he was ugly, everyone would hate him. That's the only reason he is so "awesome." If he was a fat troll you'd all hate, and you all know you would

  • I wonder how the intestines thing affects his life.

  • I wonder how many times did he bite his own tongue lol

  • He's coming to my school monday seems inspiring (:

  • @Beaniegirl616 thats something a moreau kid WOULD say

  • Thank you for coming to Moreau Catholic!!! Your presentation was hilarious and really helped us to understand everything you've been through! Thank you!

  • This video didn't show what happened on the bus. He was on a bus full of black people, and he started saying the n word and they were offended, so he told the bus driver he had tourette's and the bus driver told everyone to calm down, and one lady said why can he say the n word and the bus driver kicked him off. He came to my school last week, and he said himself that he would have kicked someone off for saying that. He's pretty awesome. (not for that, but meeting him was cool.)

  • @abicrombieprep i saw him this past weekend. i agree 100%. he was just so inspirational and all of my friends and i call him our future husband :)

now i really want to have him come to my high school to have the same experience all over again
