A look at NCL's upcoming cruise ship, Norwegian Epic

This video was shown at an NCL press conference in early April 2009. The Norwegian Epic will feature 14 restaurants, 18 bars (including the first ice bar at sea) and an Aqua Park with three slides. Epic launches in the Caribbean on July 10, 2010.

The experience must be awesome. The outside is not exactly my taste though; especially the huge box right above the bridge; it just makes the whole front look un-streamlined. But inside is amazing and I love the idea of free-style cruising:)

I wonder if Norwegian purposely made her ugly on the outside so people would remember the ship and then maybe go on her in the future. Granted getting attention for being ugly isn't desirable but it is attention and people will remember it... good or bad.

I personally would love to go on her BTW.

@zonkiethegreat I know I agree and he acts like Oasis is beautiful, well like you said its like The Freedom Class on steroids, even though norwegian epic isn't so great at looks, I think its amenities are way better than Oasis, Oasis got boring already, the only thing I thought was cool was the Central park and Aqua Theater, but I am getting over it already, and I think that QM2 is much better than Oasis at looks, Oasis is cool but it became boring after a while, the story just repeats around it

WOW, I gotta say, I like RCI but Oasis is just Liberty of the Seas on steroids. **YAWN** at least the Epic is different from previous ships. I don't see whats so bad about this ship. The exterior design?? Who cares?? It's whats inside that counts.

128 single occupancy cabins. still charging 25% "singles supplement". after taxes and mandatory $10/day tip not a good deal for singles.

It looks like the epic is going to sink by the bow on how they added 3 to 2 decks by the stern with private everything...

id go on oasis before this ship...i know i sound crazi but im not...LOL!!!! i say this ship comes second before anything eles is the oasis!!!!

NCL has some good ideas, it looks very bad!! It is also a whithead crowd.

Oasis has a lot of great ideas, looks great and has more of a hip, active crowd.

Those r the facts! Like them or not!
