@RetroSoundsDA tried these settings, couldn't replicate the sound you produced, would you mind if i sampled your video in a song of mine?
-
do you remember any of the settings of the whoopy noise around 50 seconds?
-
Is the microkorg XL better than the normal microkorg?
-
the LFO needs to be turned completly off in some of the sounds but good video anyways
-
THIS was made on the microkorg? That's pretty fantastic. It soundsn just like a vintage polysynth, like the roland juno 60 or something. I didn't know this was possible. Very nice!

Hey man, i'm new in the Synth world, and I want to buy one that make very vintage sounds like the Mellotron, can you recommend me one?
is the MicroKorg useful for those kind of sounds? THANK YOU!

@mortifago Yes, the MicroKorg is very good at those types of sounds.
However it only has a 4-note polyphony, so you might want to try something with more polyphony like the R3 or the MicroKorg XL.

I no longer have the MicroKORG. But if I remember correctly,
these were some of the main settings.
Saw on OSC 1; Square on OSC 2, -12 semitones down.
Filter: 24db; Cutoff around 85, Resonance around 40, Keyboard tracking +25.
Effects: Ensemble; Depth 35, Speed 45.

Well, if you set something up with the arpeggiator, this might be possible. I'd suggest getting a KORG Radias though...much better.
