Funny Civil Air Patrol Activity

Okay, so each cadet has to draw one piece of paper from a hat. On that piece of paper there are one or two words on it and you have 5 seconds to make up a speech talking about that word(s) Your speech has to be at least 30 seconds long, you can go over if you'd like. This is just some fun little activity our 2LT thought of to help us get better at public speaking.

@frightcrazyjim the game is O' Grady not Old Grady. but anyways it was started by four cadets who want to have a leadership postion so they thought of a drill game and it became popular throughtout the Nation

we lost our funding so my squadren doesnt have a podium... but we have a rusty old desk in a dark room squad 102 represent PA

Newark Squadren had a game called "Old Grady." The game started out with everyone in formation. The object was to see which cadet listened and obeyed the commands. Old Grady said," Parade Rest." Any command that did not include Old Grady, the cadet would be eliminated. Sgt. Troy Miller always won.
