Oh good grief, people. Child abuse? Really? If you think this is child abuse then be glad that you have no idea what child abuse really is. These kids are wearing helmets, the sheep travel at low speeds, the arena sand provides a soft enough landing, and the kids WANT to do this. If the child is scared and crying the gate men take them OFF the sheep and don't let them do it. Kids are more more likely to get hurt riding their bicycles than doing this.

I have been watching this event for years at local rodeos. My 4 year old boy can't wait to do this. He's been eyeing our alpaca's and one of these days, I'll turn around and find him on the back of one of the alpacas and flying across their pasture. That will be another proud moment my son will give me. Child abuse, HAHA. Let's get our kids outside, and enjoy the fresh air.

the sheep would not allow the kids to ride them for 2 seconds if they hated it! The kids are having soo much fun i wish i could ride a sheep. Im a horse back rider and those vests protect you soo much i fell with one on and it felt like gently sitting down on the couch
