Man If they made this battle scene with the same exact art style and the amount of detail they put into their charcs back in the 1986 anime movie, wow.

I aint a fan of this art but still souther vs raoh, this was something I had to see.

I love the old art SO MUCH better, especially when raoh goes into the hokuto shrine and gets a hold of those two head statues.

@theshooter2000 it was only 20 yrs ago, the original not 90 yrs ago. they are doing other projects though, and the voices sound softer, because its showing Raoh and Souther when they were younger, Raoh and Souther look like they're in their late 20's here, whereas in Hokuto No Ken Raoh was way more mature, like in his early 50's and Souther in his late 40's. Kenshiro had to have been 30 something in the original series when he squared off against Souther

So it's not impossible to see Raoh winning with his monstruouq strenght, but it would not be an easy fight.

Well, Raoh beating Souther without kniwong the secret of his body would not make nonsense. That's not favoritism, i like the two characters, but let's recall what is said about Raoh by Ken and Toki, even Ryuken or Koryu : Ken is the successor, that's said but Toki possess the most perfect technical abilities and Raoh is said to be the strongest disciple in history of Hokuto Shinken. So even if Ken's fist is equal to Raoh, Ken himself recognize that the brute strenght of Raoh was far beyond him.

i don't get why so many likes on this shitty movie. I mean, souther losing to raoh even whithout him knowing the secret of his body? And then souther submitting to him at the end? Total and utter nonsense. As a matter of fact, an insult to the real series...
