Ronnee Jaeger is the Canadian-born founder of an Israeli organization
called "Machsom Watch" or "Checkpoint Watch". Ronnee Jaeger and two
other women founded Machsom Watch in January 2001 because they felt a
personal need to respond to the ever-increasing number of reports of
human rights abuses against Palestinians trying to cross Israeli army
and border police checkpoints. The Other Zionists tells the story of
"the other Israel", a message of protest that we hardly ever hear.
