Pretty much all of his songs were about people roasting alive in Hell; yeah, that's pretty damn dark! The keyboardist makes Jon Lord sound like effin' Liberace.

Boy, I was fifteen when "Fire" came out - and I tell you, folks, my time of being a teenager was over!

His album is very cool, so much more to this acid fiend than Fire
-
Keyboard is Vincent Crane - later Atomic Rooster.

Terrific stuff, this! Was Vincent Crane still in the band at this time? Carl Palmer, too?

Vincent was there for sure. I think Carl Palmer joined the band after their USA tour in 1969 (correct me if I'm wrong). Before Carl the drummer was Drachen Theaker. So it is Drachen you can hear on this recording.
Drachen was really addicted to drugs and they say he couldn't keep the tempo (but I can't hear that at all) and Vincent was fed up with him. Arthur had choice - to keep Vincent or Drachen. Vincent stayed and the new drummer was Carl.
