On October 18, 2010, my father passed away. His name was Allan Wayne Gamble, having survived to precisely his 62nd birthday. During the conflict in Vietnam, he served his country, fighting for a cause he believed in. As a result of his time spent serving the United States, he was exposed to Agent Orange, and contracted lung cancer as a result.
Today, October 23, 2010, the Patriot Guard Riders rode out to the home he shared with his widow, standing in his honor at his wake. I now share with everyone the video of their departure, and hope that everyone who has family who have served our country contact these people to honor all of our fallen heroes. They all deserve a sendoff like this, at least, and nothing less.
For anyone concerned by the jerkiness of the video, this was recorded with my cell phone--a year-old HTC phone, the T-Mobile Dash 3G.
