30minutes later, at the bus stop
Joe: youre fucking joking me?!
Demi: what?
Joe: [reads it off the bus route timetable] all buses have been cancelled until tomorrow morning due a fatal stabbing which occurred earlier today whilst on a route into the centre of town [looks at her]
Demi: what are we gonna do now?!
Joe: well have you got any money left on you?
Demi: about £5
Joe: and Ive got £10 so pretty much weve got a total of £15 to get us a taxi ride back,., over an hour away
Demi: what about your family, could they pick us up?
Joe: no car. You?
Demi: he wouldnt take you home
Joe: that doesnt matter, call him and Ill stay with you while we wait
Demi: like Im gonna leave you
Joe: [sits down beside her]
Demi: can you get a hotel room for £15 around here?
Joe: well yeah I guess—
Demi: lets go

30 minutes later
Demi: well this is lovely?
Joe: its certainly cosy
Demi: wheres the toilet?
Joe: probably down the hallway or upstairs, just go in the morning coz all the pissheads and druggies come in around now
Demi: I dont know how to put this any other way, but Im a girl

Demi: OMG. Joe just come to the toilet with me please [picks up her bag]

½ way down the corridor
Joe: oh I get you now!
Demi: well it took you long enough [about to walk into the toilet]
Joe: let me check it first
Demi: Joe its the womens toilet
Joe: fuck it [walks in checks out the cubicles and then comes back out] all clear
Demi: well Im not exactly sure what you thought youd find [laughs]

Back at the room
Joe: [pulls his hoodie off so hes just in his t shirt
Demi: so what? You go on the left and me the right
Joe: dont mind, just go wherever you want
Demi: [takes off her shirt so shes left in her t shirt and changes into Joes trackies which she had in her bag to give back to him from the other night, and then lies down]
Joe: Ill be back in a minute
Demi: where you going?
Joe: Im gonna have a fag and call some people [20 minutes later walks back in and sees Demis asleep and smiles, and lies next to her looking at her face]
Demi: Joe?
Joe: Hmm?
Demi: can you get your hoodie from my bag?
Joe: sure [gets up, picks it up and gives it to her]
Demi: [sits up and puts it on]
Joe: whats wrong? [lays back down]
Demi: Im cold
Joe: do you want my hoodie too?
Demi: youll be cold in a minute, believe me
Joe: [opens up his arms]
Demi: [hesitates but then lies next to him, allowing him to put his arms around her]
Joe: [pulls the duvet over the top of them] better?
Demi: yeah. Thanks
Joe: [smiles] night Dem
Demi: night

4am
[a fights happening outside so everyone is shouting and screaming just outside their room by the window]
Demi: Joe?
Joe: yeah Dem?
Demi: are your group gonna say anything about you being with me tonight?
Joe: they think were going out so if they hear about this then obviously theyll assume something happened
Demi: oh ok
Joe: Ill tell them the truth though dont worry
Demi: what that were not dating?
Joe: no. just that we werent having sex in a £15 hotel room
Demi: yeah, itd pretty classy [smiles]
Hotel manager: [outside] everyone move on or Ill call the police
[everyone leaves]
Joe: [mutters] a lot of noise and no fucking balls
Demi: huh?
Joe: nothing [smiles] you didnt call your dad did you?
Demi: fuck. OMG Joe hes gonna actually kill me! [sits up] Im gonna be grounded for about 10 years, or he could make me go back. Ive been here 2 days and Ive just completely ruined everything! [puts her head in her hands]
Joe: [sits up beside her and puts his hand on her back, and starts rubbing it] Dems youll be fine, Ill speak to him when we get back
Demi: [hugs him so her hands are wrapped around him and her head resting on his chest, and shes sitting on the left hand side of him]
Joe: [hugs her back, stroking her hair] shhh
Demi: [pushes him off] this is completely wrong [starts to stand up and pick up her things]
Joe: Demi its 4 in the morning, what the hell have I done?
Demi: Ive known you 2 days and Im cuddling with you in bed. You must think that Im gonna be some easy—
Joe: hey hey hey! Dems seriously what the hell? You just told me youre a virgin so why would I think that?
Demi: I dunno, I just—
Joe: Im not using you
Demi: [calms down] yeah I know. I dunno what I was thinking
Joe: come back to bed, and Ill sleep on the floor. Sorry, I really didnt mean to make you feel uncomfortable
