Denise Becher

Listening to Denise Becher on a basketball court, she sounds like any other head coach. But zoom out and you see why that is not the case as Becher is the head coach of the Westhill freshman boys team. Of course Becher's position raises the question why are so few females coaching males when males have always coached females. Becher says concerns about player's respect and a simple lack of interest among women may be part of it but she loves being one of the boys and if other women are thinking about trying it, she says go for it.
