@vetzaaak welcome to most the demos on youtube. never that useful for showing what things actually sound like.

Black Sabbath meets The Seeds...

@sexpistolio Nope, original schematic. It is based of off her Torn's Peaker.

Just picked one up, soooo much fun

Get the muf modded, or just start hacking yourself. There's countless schematics and tutorials on the net that coud save you the money for this pedal. Nothing against this pedal though, it's got a really cool sticker on it.

Sounds kinda thin and jangly, no bottom end what so ever. The acoustic string rattle from your guitar is almost as loud as the distorted guitar sound, sounds like you should've turned your amp up. Or maybe your recording gear needs an upgrade? An audio interface and something like a used sm57 wouldn't cost you a lot more then that little pedal, it'd be a huge step up from recording with your camera mic...

@JeremyMoar lol Already bought it! The comment you responded to is pretty old and I guess I just made a blind decision in buying the Ruiner. Boy was it a good one though...

@modestvermin995 The Ruiner

i swear i think this company made one fuzz pedal and a hundred different stickers.
Can you list the guitar and amp your using in the description? It sounds great bu tI wanna get an idea on how it would sound on my own rig.

@wetcrevice I'm using a Fender Am Dlx Stratosonic (p-90s, chambered mahogany body, maple bolt-on, 24.75 scale)...I think I did this one into a clean 3/5 watt Blackheart tube amp.

Haha. Yes.
If you want one word for this pedal, it's heavy. Two words? "Heavy" and "Overtones"!
