@ig88bc Although I like Ip Man better (fits into the awesome historical innacuracy). Much more inspiring. To bad he didn't really beat up a japanese general. But he did train Bruce Lee.

@tarrker Though Spartans would not surrender. In Sparta if you came back from a war which you lost you were a traitor and sentenced to death. Also Leonidas was one of the earlier ones to die in the battle not the last. They had killed Leonidas and then the Persians asked the remaining Spartans to give them Leonidas and their lives would be spared. The Spartans refused and got shot down by archers.

Great movie but I'm PRETTY sure it didn't go down that way. *looks up Greek history* ... Actually it's not that far from what historians understand actually happened. There were a LOT more survivors and some of the other Greeks surrendered.
