just read an old detective novel by James Lee Burke titled "Jolie Blon's Bounce"
.In it he talks a lot about "blues,zydico, cajun ..because I'm really into blues I looked up the title and "WOW"..Been to N.O. twice but have to confess I never heard it before.

i'm only a puppy of 43...so quarter to three i discvovered way after it came out...
this one i was on as a 16 year old
the rest i listened to was reggae and toasters like u roy and dub like king tubby
great era ( bruce spingsteens 'the river' 2lp blew me off my sox)
