Seahawks 2013 NFL Draft: Is UCLA's Datone Jones a Good Fit for Pete Carroll's Aggressive Defense?

A common school of thought in the NFL is that you can never have enough quality pass rushers - the Seahawks learned this the hard way in the postseason once star sackmaster Chris Clemons was lost to a torn ACL. That said, Datone Jones, an intriguing defensive line prospect out of Pete Carroll's former rival, UCLA, could add some much-needed punch to Seattle's ability to get after quarterbacks. Kenneth Arthur of Field Gulls weighs in on CBSSports' mock draft which has Jones going to Seattle with the 25th overall pick.

I like Jones a lot, especially his work ethic! That to me is the biggest thing. He wants to be the best. Too many players think their talent alone will get them stardom, far from it! I also say just take him at 25. We have 10 picks this year and don't have too many missing pieces for a SB! I also Marcus Wheaton in the second and Sio Moore in the 3rd

If we could get him, our 3rd down Pass rushers would be awesome. Clemons, Jason Jones, Datone Jones, Irvin.

@sbnfieldgulls do you think Seattle should draft Trufant little brother? i believe he gonna be in this draft class.

i agree Seattle is loaded right now except few raw spots one is a Pass Rusher we really need. we can get that in the free agency. also some help on the offensive line. but other then that Seattle basically loaded right now with talent. If they gonna get a guy in the first round better be a future pass Rusher like Irvin. I trust Pete and John in the draft. Last 3 drafts they never let me down.
