HELP NOW? OKAY.Aviation Senate Subhouse Committee 202-226-3220.
THIS IS A LIVE NUMBER!

Ask why, since Chesly's address, there have been no major initiatives to improve airline pilot quality of life. In flagrant defense of the corporations that put money in their pockets, they'll most likely tell you what they told me, "The airline industry is not a regulated industry." I told them BS! What are all 6000 pages of the CFR14 (Aviation Regulations) all about then?? What about the Air Commerce Act of 1926? Indeed the aviation industry in the USA is one of thee most regulated industries in world history!

UPDATE: Against the text in my video, don't contact the Airline Pilot Association (ALPA). When asked to help and cooperate with my channel they responded by not helping at all, even though my channel would only serve to make the pilots working under their association stronger. Screw ALPA. Instead call the number above, directly. It's live as of 10/28/2011

You can actually call Roger Cohen (President - RAA) directly at:

(202) 367-1170

The automated system will tell you this person does not receive messages, but wait a few more seconds. When promoted, then dial 1 to reach his extension. You can leave a message for him there. Tell him what you think of him defending an $18,000 pilot salary.

  • Hope the meeting went well. God bless you and others in this disgraceful greed. Thank you for posting the video. I had no clue.

  • @TonyandLeah The meeting did go well. We had many of the assistance to The Senator gasping at how bad things are as we spoke to the Senator himself. We've been asked to keep in touch with this senators transportation adviser. There need to be a group like mine (ours) in every major city, talking to congress-people (there are ladies on capital hill). Any pilot can start a group. DO IT! :)

  • Must be a union thing. You may be paid crap initially but in a few short years you will be making more than most cops, firemen, ems professionals and RN's.

  • @atprn I really don't think, even at the 10 year point the benefits outweigh the sacrifices. And actually it's not a "union thing". Unfortunately of all the evils against us, the unions are the least of them.

  • Sully's words ought to have been a deafening wake-up call to the world about just how we pilots are abused and because of this abuse is directly related to the safety of every flight out there. But as all great speeches they land (no pun intended) on the deaf ear's of the masses. To all my fellow aviators, God bless you! Stay on the straight and narrow flight and continue to soldier on.

  • @captainmorgan757 Please post this either on your FB page or send it out in a mass emial. I appreciate your intensity. I am meeting with two US senators over the course of the next month and bringing about 8-10 other pilots with me to each meeting, depending on availability.

  • @TheWashingtonEagle all my best! I sincerely hope that something [positive] will come of your meeting. Good work!

  • @TheWashingtonEagle HERE! HERE! Well rebuked! You kept it logical, factual, and all by not using profanity! You have a much more acurate understanding of just how the situation is in aviation. I applaud you! Bravo!
