Wow, I don't know why I love this video. They are so young here!! 1983! I wasn't even born yet! And almost 30 years later they're one of my favorite groups, thousands of people still listening to their songs, the old ones and the new ones. It's amazing. It's not easy to do that... they had difficult times, yes, but they're still here. And all of them: Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam.

Who would have thought after watching that performance, they would become the biggest band in the world eh????

They aren't miniming, it's different to the best of and origional longer version. It does not look out of sync.

TOTP forced everyone to mime in the 80s. And it's a radio mix that's why it's different from the original.

Bono doesn't play the guitar. He wears it.
About Bono's vocals:He didn't truly start singing until The Unforgettable Fire. Before that album it was more of a yelling or something. Compare this performance and the one from the Joshua Tree Paris DVD. The other one is much better. And yep, his voice has changed, maybe it used to be better, but have you tried singing Breathe? I couldn't catch my breath after 10 seconds when I went to see them while he didn't seem to have any trouble at all.Amazing
