Where are you retards coming from? Listen close, listen carefully, and if you still don't have anything nice to say then BUGGER OFF.
I was interstate for 2 weeks at horse trials (olympic pre selection). Chief was turned out in the paddock that entire 2 weeks.
I got back, tried to ride him, but he was like a ticking time bomb. My friend hopped on, and agreed. He was a good boy- knew bucking etc under saddle WASN'T ON so he held onto his energy until I put him on the lunge, and he had an absolute ball.
The reason he looks tight, and wound up, is simply because he was tense, and again, he didn't want to be an arsehole under saddle.
FYI, I have had his back checked since then (look at the frigging date of the video- APRIL!).
If you're too goddamn stupid to see the video for what it is, and make stupid comments on something that's over 6 months old, then go bugger off and search for videos of fat kids falling off bikes or something.

  • Good call on letting him out on the lunge line to burn off some extra energy. Smart call might have been to do that from the beginning though. But if you really were attempting to go out for the olympics and were afraid of a buck or two, well, I have to say I fear for the sake of America's team........ Pretty horse though!

  • @Artgirlz first of all, australia lol, second of all, was a groom not a rider!

  • this videos awesome!

  • you are quite right =) some people are so rude |-) I think you are right in what you did and good for you getting him checked out =) you're a good owner, don't listen to anyones shit =). x

  • I love ich will

  • I have found that lunging works better and faster if you make them turn a lot. It is more work for them to turn than to just go around in circles. Plus it uses more muscles and their brain so they don't get bored.

  • Honestly if my horse is fresh we go find a big field somewhere and tear it up! If i don't he either rears and bucks or gallops in a really bad place (like on the road) so i litterally gallop him for the best part of an hour (i work racehorses with a friend sometimes so im used to gallop work) and then he is knackered so he is an angel (almost lazy) the next day!

  • Where did you get this song?!
