I find Bolcom's use of avant-garde techniques markedly different from Boulez and Babbitt. Bolcom's music has a narrative quality wanting in much other contemporary music. Brava.

@f1f1s This is a technical etude used to teach technique, not to entertain. That is why it doesn't sound melodic.
