I pre-make most of my lunches and dinners so I am not as tempted to eat unhealthy things when I am too tired or lazy to cook. My ultimate goal is to gain weight in the form of lean muscle mass.

  • What's your protein intake per pound of body weight if you don't mind me asking?

  • @Ironlung916 I have stopped calculating that kind of stuff. I just eat balanced balanced meals throughout the day and drink a protein shake post-workout and sometimes a protein shake before bed. I usually divide my plate into thirds. So, a third is protein like chicken, fish, turkey, eggs etc., the other third is a complex carb like brown rice or yam, and the third third is a veggie like broccoli or asparagus. The protein shake i drink has 15-18 grams per serving.

  • Too bad you have an aversion to meat. Grass fed bison is awesome. Better 'numbers ' than poultry and delicious taste.

    Oh and by the way, ignore the idiots (doubt anyone needs to tell you that)

    Truly the only thing sexier than a sexy woman is an articulate one who takes care of her self.

  • @dermlover1 Hey derm, I'm a 31 yr old male and follow basically the same routine. Eliminated any bad foods. Keep good foods going in and rationed out in a similar fashion, exercise and keep fluids up throughout the day and regular snacks on fruit. i find does the trick. The counting is just something that drives me nuts. I got a slim build so find just exercising itself and good diet keeps you feeling and looking fit either way. Good luck with it all!
