Also, eating white rice and french fries will spike your insulin and cause your body to store fat regardless of your calorie intake. Not to mention, eating shitty food even if you're in a caloric deficit, will cause you to retain alot of water since those foods are usually packed with salt and other chemical preservatives.

Here's what I don't get though... I'm a skinny mother fucker who needs to eat. Give me one good reason why I shouldn't eat Snickers Bars, especially with all those studies online about how chocolate can be good for you. If my objective is to get bigger, why spend more time eating all that celery when I can take shortcuts with candy bars?

@bigbrown4114493 I'm not too underweight, and I've got a healthy amount of muscle on me, but it's just that I burn soooo many calories by playing a cardio-intense sport, and having an extremely high metabolism. I have to eat about 500 calories every 2 hours to just satisfy my DIV. I should be going above that to gain weight.
