i-teach-u Excel Button Macros
I tried to show the simplest way possible to create a button to turn pages or perform simple macro tasks on an excel sheet.

Dedicated to the late John Hooton, Great Tutor at the University of Westminster, who gave me a love of Excel.

  • thanks this is helpful for me but why don't you tell that from where didi you bring the form tool..

  • @saynotocondom

1 Click on the right hand mouse button

2 The Toolbar menu drops down

    3 Choose Forms and click

    4 There you are.

  • I'll give that some thought JackB21

  • Ok now when you look along the line of drop down things on Excel 2007 you will see Developer as the last of the DDmenus. Click on there and you will find the tools.

Wow - some times I surprise myself. JackB21

ps thank you for asking cos now i have found out extras in 2007 and these will be of use to my university students.

  • Ok ready. This is the way to get these things.

You need to go into 2007 and then get help. In help you ask for Forms Toolbar

What it will say is look for that circular thing that you use to Open new files.

Click on that and look for Excel Options

Now you need to go for Developer Tab and click that.

There are various steps to take after that but that is the start of what you have to do. I looked for it quickly in order to answer your question.

    hope that helps.

    Best wishes JackB21

  • I am working on this and will put something up.

every time i work on 2007 i find there are things either in the wrong place or missing. I will look and come back to you.
