Agreed. They followed the steps of Bewitched. Darrin was against magic so it was similar to Tony being against Jeannie using magic. Though not as bad as Darrin.

Probably because NO Nevada casino is going to beat up "public figures" like Tony and Roger [they're celebrated astronauts, remember?]- or prosecute them- without dragging the Air Force AND the U.S Government into the affair- bad publicity for all parties- so they were allowed to leave, "but don't ever come back here if you value your HEALTH", Mr. Phillips, the casino's manager, probably warned them. That's probably why Tony said at the end, "...it's a miracle we weren't arrested". Or WORSE.

I saw this in black and white. They didn't explain in the full episode how Tony got out of being beaten and dumped in the desert.
