Alligator Hunt E. Santee River Georgetown, SC 29440 September 26 2009. Man vs Dinosaur. Man 1 Dinosaur 0...Thank God. Ive never felt anything like that cold angry stare of that just over 11 foot 550 pound alligator when he torpedoed to the middle of the river to catch his first breath of air. It took just about 4 hours to reel in the beast, he broke 1 fishing pole and 5 big treble hooks. We used treble hooks and snares to catch the Gator and finished him off with a Colt .44 pistol . We also caught a variety of fish with a cast net and saw tons of wildlife including a pod of some kind of dolphin/porpoise and also a killer whale fin but we had just hooked Mr. Willy (the gator) so we couldn't further investigate that. All proper South Carolina Department Of Natural Resources procedures were followed, this was done completely legally. It was a great Day. Thanks to all of those who made this possible. P.S. On a whole nother tip, I should of been a movie/video producer.Hope people enjoy my first youtube video. I have sleep issues, gn. Found out it wasnt a killer whale but a pygmy sperm whale fin we saw.

what lb test line did u use on the fishing pole and what size hook theres a gator in my local marina on the lake and ima try to catch it

That is a lil bitty gator dudes. I swam with his great grandma in 01. She was 13 feet. Make sure you have the proper license when you hunt in my state. If not SCDNR will find you and fine the crap out of you. I'm talkin like $15000 and jail time man.
