Ships and sailing vessels were the 'stars' of the day on Dutch Harbor Day on the Hudson River in NYC. You'll see Pete Seeger's Clearwater, Dutch clipper replicas the Half Moon, and Unrust, and many Dutch flat bottom boats, including the Wylde Wyste, the LE 194 Fugelfrij, the Windroos, and many different coast guard vessels among others.
This video is dedicated to the South Street Seaport Museum's Pioneer staff and crew, who made this amazing experience possible.
That's an amazing story. Captain Sully is someone i'm comfortable calling a true hero. That word is over used nowadays, in my opinion.
That information helps a lot. I will tell my friend. And i'll check my photos again. There were so many ships on the water that day, but i'm sure someone took a picture of his cutter.

I'm so sorry i didn't capture your son's cutter. I have a lot of photos as well, maybe he's in one of those. Would be happy to email you. Leave me a private message. A friend of mine also shot photos of the ships from land.
I'm sure he enjoyed the day. It was spectacular!
