  • This was fucking awesome man, your tone is absolutely awesome.

The Muff and the JCM are totally a sweet combo with the bright single coils ^^

What settings are your muff/amp on?

  • @dazedandawake Thanks man, much appreciate

My Muff was set with the volume and the tone at about 12 o clock i think aaand the sustain was at about 3 o clock

On the amp i was plugged into the low input and with the treble at about 4 the mid at about 8 and the bass at about 6. i thinkk

  • @Knuckster I keep my muff set similar. Anyway, this sounded sweet man, keep it up. I was gonna get a JCM 800, but I think my next purchase is gonna be a DSL 100.

  • @dazedandawake well i've actually recently sold it and got a fender dual showman which is incredible, but i'll miss the 800 a lot. The DSL is a good amp from what i hear so you'll do great with that and a muff

  • @vhp456 well i guess it does in the fact that they're nice bright single coils, it depends how you dial the tone in... rolling off a bit of treble and they can sound really strat like. have the bass cut on and your tone knobs on full and it's really nice and jangly clean and with fuzz or distortion really thick, yet punchy, the definition is all there

  • @Knuckster yeah i agree about the stock pickups, especially the treble in the bridge (it sounds decent but not great, annoying after a while). i'm thinking about putting antiquity ii on the neck and antiquity i on the bridge. does it sound anything like a stratocaster? i know i know, if i want it to sound like a stratocaster, then get a stratocaster. but i've seen some jaguars that has a more mellow tone (strat like) on youtube that i like.

  • @vhp456 the cleans sound incredible, the neck pickup especially is really smooth but has this great bass response. The Bridge pickup also is nice and punchy but without that harsh treble that the stock MIJ ones have...also for cleans the bass cut switch really is significant. Overall the cleans have this punch to them, really kinda jangly and nice

  • nice cover...i just got a mij fender jaguar, how does the antiquity ii sound on clean? I'm thinking of changing out the pickups too.
