K&N 77 Series Performance Cold Air Intake system on Silverado

A before and after look at a new K&N 77 series intake system on a 2000 Chevrolet 1500 4.8L V8.
If you are looking to buy this for your truck, I recommend it 100%. Increased gas millage and increased horsepower (both noticeably different).
Wish I would have purchased it earlier.

before- took about 6 secs to get from 31-60, after- took 7 secs from 31-60. are you flooring it both times in the video?

@kevumowns sorry, i was not flooring it both times in this video and it was taken on different roads. i was attempting to record the intake noise from the engine but that did not catch as well as i wanted on my camera. (watching this video i personally cant tell any difference between the stock intake and the k&n intake...however in real life there is a very noticeable difference in throttle response, horsepower, and noise).

@aaminjoshi91 yes! it got me over the 20mpg mark, lol. and i noticed it about 2 weeks after i installed it (because that was when i stopped the big accelerating and flooring on the highway, lol).

Im not saying anything bad about this truck but i have a 2002 chevy silverado 1500 5.3 v8 and i was surprised how much balls this truck first had i bought it off someone who didnt know shit about his truck so first things first , changed oil to synthetic, k&n oil filter, popped in some e3 diamond fire performance spark plugs just in case maintenance wasnt done to this truck and god my truck peels the F*** out!! and im still waiting for my K&N air intake system i pick it up tomorrow i can just

Good video to show the difference. But I noticed that it's slightly slower after changing to K&N. I would settle for K&N drop in, most probably :D
