Pet of the Week: Sage, the little shepherd

Sage is a beautiful female shepherd about 6 years old. She is medium in size and mostly beige with black markings. She was surrendered due to a new baby in the home. Sage loves to go for walks and walks well on the leash. She would be an excellent walking/jogging partner. We have found that Sage can climb chain link fences - and therefore, could not be left out alone in a chain link fenced yard or kennel that has no roof. She is energetic and would like an active person/family who would include her in lots of activities. Sage would most likely be happiest in a home where there is someone home most of the time.
