@1terminatorxx Well, it is better than the Hays Code that came before it, so yeah. At least the MPAA only forces censorship of NC-17 movies through the theaters refusing to play the movie instead of every movie released in America.

I think it's very sad that he died, but he was responsible for creating the MPAA rating system, and everyone knows the MPAA is an unholy abomination.

The MPAA does a horrible job rating movies. They think having sex is worse than killing people. The NC-17 is a death sentence for any movie. NC-17 movies are not allowed at major movie theaters. NC-17 was designed for pornographic movies which you watch at a movie theater, but the problem is there has been one of those since 1990. So the MPAA has many flaws.
