This is a beautiful piece of music by a brilliant composer.

I dislike this intensely. Full of cliches, an attemptred amalgam of different musical styles that simply does not hang together.

How did you get in touch with him? He's near-on impossible to find! I remember meeting him in 2006. He said he was sick of being hounded by students expecting him to do their assignments for them! :-s

There is nothing in the reach of the classicly trained ear more special than a composer who manages to thread ones aboriginality within classical music. This is so special...

After hearing this piece played at dawn at the Sydney Opera House for the 2000 Bicentennial I spent 3 years trying to find it. Finally I found Ross Edwards and he sent it to me. It reminds me of why I'm glad to be alive. Praise to Ross Edwards for creating such a glorius sound.
