I always return to this clip. At least it gives a glimpse of hope that he had hopes and a goal.

But even here he carries his true emotions on his sleeve. The world missed out on true talent and a beautiful person inside and out.

This is such a positive - and precious! - interview that Andy gave back in '86! He definitely sounded back on the road to happiness and peace; and I am so glad that you are able to post and share this piece of Andy's legacy for everyone to watch and hear.

I would like to think that Andy was finding his way back....it sounds like it in this interview. He seemed to know that what he needed was peace and hopefully for him, that was his way of saying "God controlling his life". I know he still had struggles until the end of his short life, but that is not to say that he wasn't finding his way to God or back to God. Only he and the Lord knows! Such a wonderful man and kind soul......miss him!

so so cute he was probably too hard on his self but he says he likes hmself nowyou have to get overthe hardships but even if it wasw rcreational from his perspective you gotta believe that happiness wihout dependecy of any kind drugs people fallacies in your life will be your only key money fame and fortune will not do it we have too many hooywoodlites testimonial to that love God yourself and others without loooking for something in return will be your onlu hope and surrender unselfishly takecr

Ah Gayle! I'm so excited to see this one back up so soon! Andy just isn't represented fully without the interviews and this is one of my very favorites....I especially love what he says at the end about his goals...I was expecting him to cite career goals but instead...his answer shows what a golden heart he had and still does!
