this is hilarious. my wirehair just followed the whoa and release whistle commands on the audio track for this video. when he heard the gunshot he ran to the front door and had a look up and down the street.

Oh yeah... training dogs to do this isn't easy. I can remember my father training our old dog. She is now going on 13 and is happily retired, ok... not so much happily because she gets mad whenever he gets out the gun and she's not allowed to go. So then she pouts around the house and when he comes back, she ignores him for about an hour. hahaha
