i'm currently studying preeclampsia as a topic for research in my school. this video really reminded me on why i chose this topic. thank you so much and i hope that you are doing well with no postpartum issues.
well you have to type drewzachary and its the first video ..we are so proud of him.. he was born 7/16/11 he was out of NICU in only 4 days and went to special care nursery ....and has been a fighter the whole way..he was released 8/8/2011 at 4 lbs 6 ounces!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dr Brewer found that the practices most obstetricians were using to try to stop preeclampsia were actually aggravating the condition, so they say that delivering the baby is the only way to stop it. In his research with women in New Orleans slums, he found that nutritional changes actually prevented preeclampsia in his patients. Midwives and doulas around the country use his dietary guidelines to keep women from developing pre-eclampsia, but many doctors do not.
I am currently 8 weeks preggo with # 2 and am so scared of going through what I went through with my daughter (who is 2 and a half). I developed severe eclampsia, and almost lost my own life. I hope I have a different story with this one. The reason its so scary is because I really dont know what I did to cause the problems I had with my daughter, so I dont know what to do or not to do this time around. Thank you for the video. More people need to know about this so we can get $ to find a cure
Beautiful boys! Thankyou for this video. My twin girls were born 6 weeks early due to severe pre-eclampsia by c-section. they were so tiny and stayed in hospital for 1 month. Now they are 4 and doing great!
