Nonetheless, something needs to be done about the grid stability problems. For as long as we keep incentivizing renewables, we're going to keep getting brownouts unless we can balance the grid.

People have been working on compressed air for more than a century. Adding water to improve the efficiency back in 1870! It was abandoned because of technical problems. What makes here think anything has changed since then?
