On 15 May 2007, a ceremony was held in the "Big Gym" at London Central High School to mark the closing of the school after 56 glorious years of educating students at Bushy Park, Bushey Hall and finally, High Wycombe (RAF Daws Hill). The ceremony lasted over an hour and this is just an extract which includes Ms Polly DeYoung's address as the guest speaker. So, 2007 was the last graduating class of LCHS Bobcats that there will ever be. There is an all-year reunion scheduled for 21-23 August 2009 in San Diego - visit www.lchsreunion.info for more information. Other great LCHS resources include www.londoncentral.org, www.thelondoner.com (especially for those from the classes of 1966-1974. For more information on the school closing and a book on it's history, visit www.fromthefacultylounge.com
yey! Ms DeYoung. Life changing, amazing teacher. I hope she is enjoying her retirement and if she sees this, that I am very grateful for the self confidence she gave me. Also, math.
