Name: Studio 5 part 1 - Skyscraper
Game: Animaniacs (Mega Drive/Genesis)
Developer: Konami
Year of Release: 1994
Composer: Kiyoshi Murai

Another piece from one of my all-time favourite licensed games with an incredibly good soundtrack for such, the first part of the final stage for the Warner Brothers and Sister begins with an epic stride into a dangerous skyscraper.

As the first part of the set for the Action movie genre, the skyscraper itself is set with bombs, fires, treacherous walkways and a bullet-storming helicopter all set to make this goddamn action sequence WORK, all to a fantastic drumming march into the movie set ready to blow at a moment's notice, but as we all know, when these three kids have their heart set on something, they're never gonna stop!

  • I swear, konami knew how to use the genesis's instruments to their full potential!

  • @game4youuuu1undertow They seriously did, this is a very underrated soundtrack and a great example of such. Only other Konami games I can think of that used the full power of the Genesis sound chip are Castlevania: Bloodlines and Sparkster.
