Written in the Stars Parody [Greener than the Stars: School Project]

This is a project that my friends and I had to do for school. It was for chemistry class and was about saving the environment by reducing our carbon footprint. Here is the result of our work. We replicated the instrumentals ourselves using only recyclables and a piano. Enjoy.

Reduce our carbon footprint and here is how
If you wanna be help, then take this challenge
Get a car with 35 miles per gallon
Not gallons per mile, then the penguins won't smile
'Cause that CO2 stays up for a while
In fact, drop the keys and skip the car
And go ride a bike with no handlebars
Arms in the air just feeling free
I ain't a leprechaun, but I'm going green

Next time in the morning when your brushing your teeth
Turn off the water, use only what you need
And when you take a shower, you better not take an hour
Use a towel, not a dryer, 'cause that uses power
And stop wasting power with computer games

No Starcraft, Minecraft, Land of Leagues
Just get out there and plant some trees
And don't forget to turn off your General Electrics
If its not being used, then don't forget it
These actions can change who you are
One day a Bigfoot, next and Energy Star
After you have learned, go and spread the word
Through videos, powerpoints, or in a verse
Tell all your friends to go green, it shouldn't take long
