Who ever gave the downward thumb to vallo here, wtf?
thumb, resolved.
Great video Stew.
5/16 hardened steel is no joke, and i dont think i have ever bent one myself... a 60d isnt rteally much, i work with them in surveying, but i thank you for the inspiration, i realy trashed my wrists when i was younger doing breakfalls alot on concrete... i never really thought to bend nails to recondition them. I may have to sneak some from the back of the truck ;)

i bent 30 of those a day when i was young
i am now 70 years old and still can do it if i wanted to.But at my age i would be taking a chance on permanent injury.Vallo38

Great bend man! I've watched this a million times hehe.
You seem to go with the reverse style, which is my fav. also.
My current record is a grade 8 to 40 degrees using reverse style.

hi mate. All your videos are awesome. thanks for sharing. Ive been into hand strength training for about a year now and wanted to start bending. Are the 60 penny nails the best thing to start with when learning to bend? any response or advice would be really appreciated, cheers
double holy shit

Go to cyberpump.com and click on "the grip board" This site has all kinds of info about how to train. Also check out IRONMIND.COM for some cool grip and handstrength stuff. Good luck and thanks for the comments.

great bend man. That 60D fell like butter. What's your ID on gripboard?
I am having trouble getting beyond ironmind green nail. I destroy the green but cant even put a kink in the yellow. I posted my bend on here also. I just started so my technique is still poor.
I was wondering where you get the leather pads you have in the video? I got ironmind pads but they are not that comfortable as they tend to bunch up.

On the grip board I am Bigstew123 The leather is from a pair of welders gloves, Lowes or home depot, 12 bucks. For what its worth, I could barely get the yellow when I started, and at the time I was in decent shape, benching 300 for reps. Your grip and wrists will get a lot stronger in a short peroid, but then it becomes hard to make any real gains. Work hard, then put the nails away for a week. Whatever you do, don,t hurt yourself. Hands take a long time to heal. Good luck. Big Dave
