"Colours" is a song written and recorded by Scottish singer-songwriter Donovan. The "Colours" single was released in the United Kingdom on May 28, 1965 through Pye Records (Pye 7N 15866) and a few months later in the United States through Hickory Records.

    Donovan wrote this along with another unheard verse with a fellow Banjo player whose name i cannot think of at the time but ill be sure to get back to you on this one.

  • @russ2903 umm i know its donovan, it has the friggin album cover right there buddy, not that i need to see it to know, clearly its donovan singing, all i said was it doesnt sound like dylan... i was reffering to the guy who said it sounded like bob dylan.
