Dave Daniels Legends Driver -
July 14, 2007 Old Dominion Speedway
Dave would hold his position on the first lap and later would be out motored and slowly slid back into 5th place. On the 7th lap of the race, a major wreck would occur. After watching the video in slow motion, one of the front runners of the race would get tangled up with another car, causing it to flip twice on the track. Dave was not far behind the incident and would take his 04 car low to avoid the wreck. Unfortunately, while driving top speeds, another driver decided to go low as well and hit Dave's front tire causing a broken tire rod, which in turn caused Dave to loose the steering of the car. The 04 car would slam into the guardrail causing extensive damage. Dave suffered a mild concussion, a bruised knee, a sore neck and back.
His bell was rung pretty good!
