Field eXpedients: BfR Blast-Resistant Combat Boots 1

Maybe instead of buying that CD player, the PROFESSIONAL Soldier would be better off spending $288 and buying a pair of BfR blast-resistant TAN desert combat boots to save his feet and lower legs from enemy high explosive effects?

Note that Wellco offers blast-protective over shoes that could also be worn on top of their own or the BfR blast protective boots to increase protection. Certainly Soldiers walking on point should be wearing both the boots, overboots and lower leg ballistic pants or TACARM's ballistic ACU inserts

if they really work im buying a pair,can anyone tell me how comfortable they are over long distances?how long they take to break in?im off out to afghan this year and losing a foot or leg is a big concern,have they been combat tested yet?
