Here's a side view of Obama's limo getting stuck in Ireland.

As you can see, the wheels get tucked in the fenders before the chassis gets high centered.

Vehicle disable device triggered by mistake?

  • wasnt even obamas limo, they released news that it was one of his spares. or else the agents wouldnt dare get out of the car if it had obama in it, they be fired in minutes.

It wasn't "the Beast", but one of a few presidential limos that he uses while traveling abroad.

The exact one he rides in is actually chosen randomly before each outing.

The limo is actually equipped with a disabling system that allows the SS to disable it remotely in case the vehicle is stolen with the president inside.

For some reason, the system was activated by mistake.

This was recently discussed on a public forum that is now defunct (I wonder why)

Again, watch the slow motion at 0:34

It clearly shows the wheels jumping up into the fenders BEFORE the frame gets high centered on the ramp.

Like I said, the matter has already been discussed and we already know the facts.

If you don't believe it, that's fine.

  • love how the Garda jumps back thinking he's about to be taken out in a presidential assassination

  • @BGKO1992 But the panther platform is no more. Had a good long run, though. Not sure if that was a good thing or not.

  • @9b8 i think they sould have built it on a panther platform

  • press 4, and before it becomes the second 0:23, press 4 agian. there you go a remix XD

  • This is the Cadillac experience at its finest. I would have suggest basing the beast on a Ford platform, but sigh, American luxury auto manufacturing has been dissapointing. Should have went with Mercedes, I guess. (Yes, this is only a joke and convenient dig at GM, for those who don't get that.)

  • it was like "ameriCA"

  • @98snakeeater i just said that :P

  • damn when it pulls the tires up like that it looks so damned cool, like something you'd see in a movie.
